With so many fabulous golfing developments available in the area, how do you pick one for your new place to live? Difficult choice!!! One sure bet to look at are The Strand Naples Florida homes for sale, if just for the number of different types of housing situated beyond their guard (24 hour) gated entrance off Immokalee Road. As what may be expected for a development of this caliber, the centerpiece of the Club at The Strand are the three 9 hole layouts (Savannah, Sabal, Preserve) designed by the well respected architect Gordon Lewis. (Other of the more than a dozen area courses that are the creations of Mr. Lewis include The Country Club of Naples, Naples Heritage, Quail Creek Village, Spanish Wells and Glen Eagle). Dotted throughout this development you will find stocked lakes where you can watch the otters play and maybe put in a fishing pole (eating the fish you catch is not recommended). There are also a number of areas that have been designated "preserves" by the State of Florida. These preserves may not be developed in any manor. They are to be left as they have been existing for centuries. Living in the preserves are a number of deer families and other wildlife to experience.
The sidewalk that winds along the main boulevard of The Strand has mile markers for your walking, biking or jogging information. Speaking of the Strand Boulevard, it is one of the most beautiful drives through a community that you will find in Naples. Every development here in The Strand is off of one main street that has gorgeous tropical plantings down the middle of Strand Boulevard.
